Not A Speaker? That’s OK!

You can still be a valuable contributor to WordCamp Omaha! We are putting out the call for volunteers and are in search of enthusiasts who want to lend us a hand!

If you are reliable, courteous, friendly and ready to have fun, we have a variety of volunteer positions for you to choose from! Positions are available for both days, and we ask that volunteers make themselves available for at least a half-day. Volunteers do not need to buy a ticket, but please be aware that you are likely to miss some of the sessions.

• Registration Desk
  Our Registration Desk will be manned throughout the conference and will serve as the home base for the conference staff and volunteers. Our goal is to make the check-in process as smooth as possible and keep lines short!
• Session Emcees
  Session Emcees can’t be afraid of a microphone! Our emcees will be responsible for introducing speakers, keeping them aware of the time, and answering general event questions between sessions.
• General
  Our general volunteers are the true rock-stars of our volunteer team! They are there to help things run smoothly overall, filling in where needed, and answering general questions during and between sessions.
